Land of Lincoln – Or Prairie State? Happy Birthday, Illinois!

Chicago, corn, soybeans and hogs, tall grass prairie, and Abraham Lincoln seem to dominate and define Illinois.  But there are many other interesting natural and cultural features in Illinois.  February is not only the month of Abraham Lincoln’s birth, but also the month when The Illinois Territory was established in 1809.  Enjoy a piece of birthday cake as you explore the spaces and places that make Illinois an amazing state.
