Please join Chicago's community leaders on Thursday, Nov. 13, in honoring esteemed journalist, broadcaster, documentarian and provocative story teller Bill Kurtis with an inaugural Geographic Visionary Award, sponsored by the Geographic Society of Chicago and The National Geographic Society. John McCarter, Chairman of the Board of Regents at the Smithsonian Institution, will introduce Mr. Kurtis.
