The GeoSphere (formerly called the Earth Balloon):
Through our GeoSphere, GSC geographers lead an interactive program for 30 people at a time inside a 20’ inflatable globe. Students learn about the world from the inside out.
The GeoSphere shows natural vegetation, mountains, water bodies, latitude & longitude, tectonic boundaries, and city symbols.
Program Details
- The GeoSphere requires an indoor location with a 20’ clearance and an electrical outlet within 20’ of the globe.
- Maximum of 30 participants at a time.
- We can accommodate a maximum of 12 classes in a full day (6 hours). GeoSphere programs can range from 20 to 45 minutes in length, depending on your school’s scheduling needs.
